Riders Stop at Capitol on “Run for the Wall”

Today, hundreds of motorcycle riding veterans of the United States Armed Forces and their friends and families stopped at the West Virginia Capitol Complex on the annual “Run For the Wall”, a ride which recognizes the sacrifices and contributions made by all veterans who have served the nation.

The stated mission of this group is to “promote healing among all veterans and their families and friends, to call for an accounting of all Prisoners of War and those Missing in Action (POW/MIA), to honor the memory of those Killed in Action (KIA) from all wars, and to support our military personnel all over the world.”

After leaving the Capitol Complex riders will proceed to Rainelle, WV and then Lewisburg, WV from which they will continue the ride in the morning to the nation’s capitol, Washington, D.C, for events in and around the Vietnam Memorial on the Mall for Memorial Day weekend.
