Members of the House of Delegates met briefly at Noon to receive the Governor’s Call regarding the 2nd Special Session agenda.
Six bills were introduced relating to the appropriation of state funds. They are:
House Bill 201, which makes a supplementary appropriation of Lottery Net Profits to various education related accounts;
House Bill 202, which makes a supplementary appropriation from General Revenue to the state Department of Administration;
House Bill 203, which makes a supplementary appropriation of Lottery Net Profits to various state agency accounts;
House Bill 204, which supplements, amends and increases items from the State Road Fund to the state Department of Transportation;
House Bill 205, which makes a supplementary appropriation from General Revenue to the state Department of Education and Arts; and,
House Bill 206, which makes a supplementary appropriation from the State Excess Lottery Revenue Fund to the state Department of Education.
The bills were then referred to the House Finance Committee for their consideration.
The House Finance Committee will meet at 2:00 p.m. in Room 460 M.
The House is in recess until 6:00 p.m. later today.
