In an evening session of the House of Delegates, members received and took up for immediate consideration six measures which the state Senate passed earlier in the afternoon. The bills were read a first time and advanced to second reading.
The bills all deal with the appropriation of state funds and include Senate Bill 2001, Senate Bill 2002, Senate Bill 2003, Senate Bill 2004, Senate Bill 2005 and Senate Bill 2006. They will be on second reading on the calendar tomorrow.
The House is adjourned for the evening and will reconvene at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 16th, 2009.
