The House of Delegates convened the 3rd Special Session of 2009 this evening, reading four bills a first time.
House Bill 301 relates to extending unemployment compensation funds as authorized by the federal American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. House Bill 302 orders a one-time bonus be paid to certain full-time public employees.
House Bill 303 includes $5 million for the West Virginia Development Office Broadband Deployment Fund and House Bill 304 moves funds to the unappropriated surplus balance in the State General Revenue Fund.
These bills will now be sent to the House Finance Committee for consideration.
The House Finance Committee will meet tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. in Room 460.
The House will reconvene at 11:00 a.m. tomorrow
