The House of Delegates convened this morning for the 30th day of the regular session.
House Bill 2567, relating to the Secretary of State’s jurisdiction over limited partnerships, was passed unanimously. Senate Bill 197, which relates to expired and unappropriated funds, was read for the second time.
The House read eight bills for the first time, including House Bill 2046, which would require wireless telecommunications companies to give law enforcement information about a missing persons cell phone in a timely manner. The House also introduced 17 bills.
Representatives from the West Virginia Federation of Democratic Women were on hand to receive a citation honoring their work for the state. House Resolution 22, which would make March 14, 2013 “Generation West Virginia Day” and House Resolution 23, which would honor the life of Carl C. Thomas, were both adopted.
