Today, during the House floor session, 38 new bills were introduced while one bill was on second reading and two bills were on their first readings.
House Bill 2001 was read for a second time. This bill would repeal portions of the Alternative and Renewable Energy Portfolio Act.
House Bill 2201 which would require the Public Service Commission to adopt certain net metering and interconnection rules and standards as well as House Bill 2025 which would prohibit certain sex offenders from loitering within one thousand feet of a school or child care facility were both read a first time.
The House Judiciary Committee will host a public hearing today at 2 p.m. in the House of Delegates Chamber to discuss House Bill 2011. This bill relates to disbursements from the Workers’ Compensation Fund where an injury is self-inflicted or intentionally caused by the employer.
The Public Hearing scheduled for tomorrow at 3pm in the House of Delegates Chamber regarding HB 2006 has been postponed till further notice
