The House passed both Senate Bill 3 and House Bill 2138 during today’s floor session. SB 3 relates to real property possessor’s liability for trespasser harm. SB 3 is the third piece of legislation to pass through both chambers, and it now awaits the Governor’s signature.
HB 2138 adds aircraft operations on private airstrips and farms to the definition of recreational purposes.
Two bills were advanced to further readings. HB 2053, relating to the form of trust deeds, was advanced to third reading after the adoption of an amendment. HB 2227, relating to the National Coal Area Heritage Authority, was also advanced to third reading.
Four House bills including HB 2138, HB 2200, HB 2224 and HB 2494 were referred to their respective committees.
