Today the House met to complete legislative action on Senate Bill 277, which will require issuance of certificate of birth resulting in stillbirth.
The House also passed eight other bills. Senate Bill 421 was amended on third reading, this bill relates to punitive damages in civil actions. Another bill that passed the House was Senate Bill 532 which relates to civil liability immunity for clinical practice plans and medical and dental school personnel. These bills were amended and go to the Senate for concurrance.
The House also advanced 19 bills to third reading.
The Finance Committee will hold a public hearing tomorrow at 8 a.m. in the House Chamber regarding Senate Bill 14, relating to creating the Public Charter Schools Act of 2015.
