Today the House met to complete legislative action on Senate Bill 106 which will exempt professional engineer members from the sanitary board when a project engineer is under contract. The House completed legislative action on four other bills.
The House rejected Senate Bill 170. The members then moved to reconsider the bill. It is laid over one day to consider further amendments. The bill would authorize the bureau of commerce to promulgate legislative rules.
The House passed five other bills. One bill was Senate Bill 287 “Todd’s Law”, which would provide posthumous high school diplomas.
The House adopted 48 resolutions. One was House Resolution 18, memorializing the life of the Honorable Charles Raymond Shaffer.
