The House of Delegates met today for the first day of the second session of the 82nd Legislature.
Several delegate resignations were recognized including former Delegates Larry Williams, Bob Ashely, Harry Keith White, Linda Phillips and Amanda Pasdon.
New appointments included Delegates Steven Shaffer, Martin Atkinson, Frank Blackwell and Phyllis White.
The House introduced new bills.
House Resolution 3 called for the forming of a new committee to focus on substance abuse.
The House is in recess until 6:50 p.m.
The following House committees will meet tomorrow:
Finance at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Banking and Insurance at 10 a.m.
Health and Human Resources at 2 p.m.
Energy at 2 p.m. in 410M
Small Business, Entrepreneurship and Economic Development at 10 a.m. in 434M
