House of Delegates: 2016 Session Finale Part 4

After reconvening at 7:45 p.m., the House of Delegates continued recieving Senate communications.

The House of Delegates concurred with the Senate and allowed the following bills to complete legislation: HB 2366, HB 4662, HB 4388, HB 4176, HB 4730, HB 4009, HB 2826, HB 4033, HB 4040, HB 4364, HB 4168, HB 4186, HB 4655, SB 702, HB 4659,
HB 4261, HB 4507, HB 4295, HB 4724, SB 404,

The House also concurred with the Senate and added amendments to the following bills: HB 4309, HB 4317, HB 2795, HB

Additonally, the House requested for the Senate to recede from their amendments regarding HB 4605.

The House chose to recede from their position regarding SB 283, allowing it to complete legislation.

The report from the Conference Committee regarding SB 13 was adopted and completed legislation.

The report from the Conference Committee regarding SB 597  was adopted and passed; it now awaits Senate passage.

Several more members whom will not plan to return next session stood up to share their appreciation for their colleagues including Delegate Scott Cadle (R-13) and Delegate Chris Stansbury (R-35).

Rules will meet at 9:40 p.m.

The House will stand in recess until 9:45 p.m.
