The Senate passed one bill and re-referred another during an early afternoon floor session today.
The Senate passed Senate Bill 1002, which would require at least annual evaluations of teachers and other school service personnel with effective dates as to when these evaluations must be completed. The bill will now move on to the House for consideration.
Senate Bill 1001, which would streamline in-school committees, was re-referred to the Senate Education Committee.
