Today the Senate convened for a quick floor session and read three bills for the first time as well as moved one bill to third reading.
Senate Bill 125,which would permit Monongalia County Commission to levy special district exercise tax was read for the second time today and advanced to third reading.
Senate Bill 386, which relates to personal safety orders, Senate Bill 387,which relates to family court judge supervision of criminal background investigations and Senate Bill 423, which relates to sentence reductions of certain convicted persons were all read for the first time today, and advanced to second reading.
The Senate will reconvene at 11:00 a.m Monday
