Senate Bill 237 and Senate Bill 341 were passed during todays floor session. Senate Bill 237 will create a Creating Captive Cervid Farming Act. Senate Bill 341 will permit the Agriculture Commissioner to approve and submit Livestock Care Standards Board rules.
Four bills were advanced to third reading including Senate Bill 6, Senate Bill 7, Senate Bill 106, and Senate Bill 335. Two bills advanced to second reading. There were also 12 bills introduced.
The Senate has adjourned until Monday February 2nd, 2015 at 11 a.m.
