The Senate passed a bill that lays out the provisions for furloughing publlic employyees in the event of a fiscal emergency (HB106), as well as a bill relating to the West Virginia Healthcare Authority (HB117), during a morning floor session on Tuesday.
The Senate plans to use this afternoon to work with the Governor’s office on a budget plan that could be voted on as soon as this evening.
The Senate is in recess until this evening at 5 p.m.
