Senate Bills 270-286 were introduced today.
President Mitch Charmicael (R – Jackson, 04) adressed the body on the importance of supporting his bill, Senate Bill 284 that will allow for students to be enrolled with grants and scholarships in Advance Career Education programs at West Virginia Community and Technical Colleges and Vocational Schools.
The Senate passed two resolutions today. Senate Resolution 6 designated March 21, 2018 as Down Syndrome Awarness Day. The Senate congratulated Wheeling Central Catholic High School on winning the 2017 state football championship with Senate Resolution 7.
