Senate Passes Nine Bills, Honors the Life of Jan Vineyard

The Senate convened today at 11 a.m.

S. B. 368 would protect consumers against businesses using automatic purchase renewals without consent. It was passed unanimously with one senator absent.

S. B. 440 would establish the Library Facilities Improvement Fund and was also passed unanimously with one member absent.

S. B. 272S. B. 392, S. B. 427, S. B. 433, S. B. 464 and S. B. 468 were passed unanimously to the House.

S. B. 441 was passed 31-2 with one senator absent.

S. B. 290 was laid over for one day.

The Senate adopted S.R. 36, memorializing the life of Jan Vineyard, with a unanimous roll call.

S.R. 37, celebrating the bicentennial of the City of Weston, was also adopted.
