Governor Justice appointed Delegate Lynne Carden Arvon to the vacant Senate Seat for State Senatorial District 9 representing Raleigh County. The seat was vacated when Senator Jeff Mullins resigned earlier this session.
Senator Arvon was sworn in by Senate President Mitch Carmicheal in the Senate Chamber surrounded by family and colleagues from both the House of Delegates and Senate.
