The House convened today at 11:00 a.m. to introduce 10 bills and one House Resolution.
The House advanced four bills to third reading today including House Bill 2579, which would revise the state water quality standard for selenium. There were also four bills advanced to second reading.
Bills introduced today included House Bill 2856, which would prohibit discrimination based upon age or sexual orientation.
The House also adopted House Resolution 19, recognizing March 7, 2013 as Child Advocacy Center Day to acknowledge those who work to assist alleged victims of child abuse and their families.
