The Senate passed five bills this morning, March 4, 2013:
Senate Bill 47, regarding livestock trespassing laws;
Senate Bill 194, regarding the Medicaid program contract procedure;
Senate Bill 214, abolishing the interview requirement for medical licensee applicants;
Senate Bill 335, exempting certain hospitals from a certificate of need;
Senate Bill 338, would codify the existing common law in West Virginia in regards to trespassers of real property.
In addition to the five bills passed, Senate Bill 101, which would clarify the Medical Professional Liability Act, was read for the first time. Also, 21 bills were introduced.
The Senate will reconvene tomorrow at 11am.
