House Passes One Bill, Four Bills Advance to Second Reading


Today, in the House, a citation was presented recognizing the West Virginia Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Domestic and Sexual Violence Prevention Day at the Legislature. Also presented was a citation recognizing the National Association of Social Workers from West Virginia’s Chapter.

The House passed House Bill 2585, which relates to increasing the time to file a petition in response to notice of an increased assessment of certain real and personal property.

House Bill 2351, House Bill 2450, House Bill 2579, and House Bill 2764 were all advanced to second reading.
