Incumbent House of Delegate members who recently won re-election as well as two newly elected House of Delegate members attended swearing in ceremonies yesterday and today in the House Chamber ahead of them taking office in January.
Newly elected Jill Upson, (R-Jefferson) representing the 65th Delegate District, was sworn in by Justice Brent Benjamin on Monday, December 1st.
Incumbent Delegates Bob Ashley (R-Roane) representing the 11th Delegate District, Jim Butler (R-Putnam) representing the 14th Delegate District, Scott Cadle (R-Mason) representing the 13th Delegate District and Steve Westfall (R-Jackson) representing the 12th Delegate District along with newly elected Roger Hanshaw (R-Clay), representing the 33rd Delegate District, were all sworn in on Tuesday, December 2nd, by Fourth Circuit Judge Thomas C. Evans.
