The Senate met this evening and took up five Senate bills the Governor had vetoed due to technical reasons such as Senate Bill 239 which allows a majority vote for certain metro government approval.
Senate Bill 501 was also taken up for immediate consideration. This bill prohibits animal gas chamber euthanasia.
The Senate also received the committee report on the Budget Bill which was then read a first time.
The Senate will reconvene tomorrow at 11:00 a.m.
