Special Session Continues Through Second Day of Interim Meetings

Today, the state Senate and the House of Delegates met to continue deliberations regarding the 2nd Extraordinary Session of 2014.  Both bodies received an Amended Proclamation adding one measure to the Governor’s call.

That bill, House Bill 206 and Senate Bill 2006, would extend the time for the Richwood, WV Common Council to meet as levying body.  The House version was read a first time in the House of Delegates while the Senate passed their version.

The House also read for a second time House Bill 201, House Bill 202, House Bill 203House Bill 204, House Bill 205 as well as Senate Bill 2003 and Senate Bill 2004.

The Senate also read a 2nd time Senate Bill 2005, which relates to the application of minimum wage and maximum hour standards.

The House of Delegates is adjourned until 10 a.m. tomorrow.

The Senate is adjourned until 11:00 a.m. tomorrow.
